History - Our web experience dates right back to 1995. Prior to 1995, the initials "www" meant very little to anyone outside either a university computer department or military stronghold.
The Internet of 1995, was completely different from the Internet we know today. Mr Zuckerberg (Facebook fame & fortune) had only just started middle school, and Google didn't exist until three years later. There were approximately 16 million people online in the entire world at that time. People who collaborated/chatted online, did so via niche special-interest boards, discussing movies, games, and finance.
